What we collect

• You send us: name, email, and message text on contact, feedback, and report forms; optional account email if you sign in.
• The browser sends: pages viewed, referring URL, user agent, approximate location from IP, and timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and debug the site.
• Cookies and similar tech: first-party cookies needed to keep a session, plus third-party cookies when advertising or analytics run.

Google advertising

Vibepedia uses Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-4608049913328593) to show ads on qualifying encyclopedia pages. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, and IP addresses to serve and measure ads. Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser as a result of ad serving on this site.

We do not put AdSense on about, contact, privacy, terms, editorial, help, or DMCA pages. We do not use ads to collect health, children’s, or other sensitive categories as defined in Google’s publisher policies.

How we use information

• To render pages, prevent abuse, and measure whether the encyclopedia is working.
• To answer contact and correction reports.
• To show advertising on pages that already have publisher content.

We do not sell personal information. We do not let advertising partners use this site to merge personally identifiable information with non-PII without consent required by law.

Who else sees data

Hosting and edge delivery run on Cloudflare. Application data is stored in Supabase. Email and analytics vendors process data only to provide their service. Law enforcement requests are honored when legally required.

Children

Vibepedia is a general-audience reference site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Use browser controls to block cookies. Use the contact form to ask us to delete a form submission. If you have an account, you can request deletion of that account through the same form.
