Editorial policy

This policy is the bar for pages that stay in the public encyclopedia. If a page fails it, we fix the page or unpublish it. Ads are never a reason to keep a thin or copied URL live.

Sourcing

Factual claims should point to a primary or reputable secondary source. Encyclopedia summaries may synthesize several sources; they may not paste another publisher's article. Quotes stay short and attributed. Images must be licensed or generated for the page.

Voice

Write for a first-time reader. Prefer plain sentences. Do not stuff keywords. Do not invent statistics. If the record is uncertain, say so in the lede instead of rounding it into a fake fact.

AI assistance

Software may draft outlines, section text, and related-topic lists. A page is not finished because a model returned words. Finished means: the lede is true, sections match the topic, citations work, and the page would still help a reader with JavaScript off. See the AI disclosure.

Corrections

Send the entry URL, the sentence that is wrong, and a source that is right via contact. We log the report, change the entry when the source holds, and keep a revision time on the record.

What we will not run

• Pages whose only job is to host ads or affiliate blocks.
• Doorway pages that repeat the same template with swapped nouns.
• Copied or scraped articles with no new structure or commentary.
• Sexual content involving minors, CSAM, or exploitation — including “news” blurbs that repeat those details on the homepage.
• Medical or financial miracle claims, hate, and instructions for crime.

Syndicated headline rewrites are not encyclopedia entries. If a story is only a rephrase of another outlet, it does not belong on the Vibepedia homepage.

Advertising

Ads, if shown, sit below or beside publisher content and are labeled “Advertisement.” Trust pages (about, contact, privacy, terms, editorial) never carry ads. Inventory follows Google publisher policies. The privacy policy discloses Google advertising cookies.
