The Sawtooth National Forest is a National Forest that covers an area in the U.S. states of Idaho and Utah. The forest is home to the Sawtooth Mountains, as well as several other mountain ranges, including the Albion, Black Pine, Boise, Boulder, Pioneer, Raft River, Smoky, Soldier, Sublett, and White Cloud ranges. With its diverse landscape and abundant wildlife, the Sawtooth National Forest is a popular destination for outdoor recreation, including hiking, camping, and fishing. The forest is also home to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, which includes the Sawtooth, Cecil D. Andrus–White Clouds, and Hemingway–Boulders wilderness areas. The forest is managed as four units: the SNRA and the Fairfield, Ketchum, and Minidoka Ranger Districts.
