The Canal District, also known as the Venice Canal Historic District, is famous for its man-made wetland canals. The district is bounded by Eastern Court, Court A, Strongs Drive, and Court E, and features several canals. The canals were originally designed to recreate the appearance and feel of Venice, Italy.
